Designed with purpose
Cacare is about giving back - to your body, to Danish craftsmanship, and to the girls at Laxmi Ashram, creating a future with dignity.

Better everyday comfort
Poop stool.
It’s honest, it’s precise, and everyone understands exactly what it is.
But a “poop stool” isn’t something you give as a gift, display in a beautiful bathroom, or build a Nordic design brand around.
Cacare has roots in Latin and simply means what the body sometimes needs — to relieve itself.
A stool for the people
— just with a slightly nicer name

Better everyday comfort
Many people experience discomfort when going to the toilet - often caused by posture, lifestyle, or simply the way modern toilets are designed. Sitting at a 90-degree angle is not natural for the body and can lead to unnecessary strain.
By gently elevating the feet, Cacare supports a more natural position, helping the body function with greater ease and comfort.
A simple adjustment - with a noticeable difference.

Crafting with purpose in Denmark
At Fabrikken, craftsmanship meets social responsibility. As part of a Danish social enterprise, the workshop creates meaningful work opportunities for people on the edge of the labour market — combining structure, routine, and pride in the craft.
Each Cacare stool is shaped by skilled hands in an environment built on inclusion, dignity, and shared responsibility — where quality work and human value go hand in hand.

Bidrager til Laxmi Ashram
Laxmi Ashram is a girls’ school in Kausani, in the Indian Himalayas, dedicated to education, independence, and dignity for young women. The school provides a safe environment where girls can learn, grow, and build a future on their own terms.
All profits from Cacare go directly to supporting Laxmi Ashram - helping sustain education, daily life, and essential facilities in a remote region where opportunities are limited.
